Mall decked out in orchids and sounds of joyous music this National Day

Singapore, 4 August 2010 – In celebration of Singapore’s 45th birthday, Paragon will be adorned with festive colours and orchids, to get shoppers into the mood for celebration this August. Paragon has also lined up a string of shopping promotions and music performances by local school bands, jazz ensembles and local celebrities in celebration of National Day. 

Shoppers at Paragon can look forward to the following promotions and activities:

1. A Medley of Mementos
   
   Shoppers will receive a National Day collar pin with minimum $150 spent in a single receipt at Paragon. They will receive an additional journal or a Games from the Past when they spend $350 or more in a single receipt.
   
   Citi Paragon Platinum MasterCard Cardmembers just need to spend $100 or $300 respectively to redeem these mementos. Redemptions are available while stocks last.
    
2. Endless Privileged Shopping at Paragon
   
   From now till 31 December 2010, shoppers who make purchases of at least $200 in a single receipt at Paragon will stand a chance to win in the mall’s monthly luxury draws. 
   This month, five lucky shoppers will win an iPad 64GB Wi Fi 3G worth $1,228 each. 
   
   The top prize for the grand draw is a Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupé (E 250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY). The results of the grand draw will be announced in January 2011.
   
   Citi Paragon Platinum MasterCard members will enjoy five times the chances when they spend $200 in a single receipt at the mall.
3. Mercedes-Benz Weekend Getaway
   
   The top spender at Paragon every month will get to enjoy a posh Mercedes-Benz Weekend Getaway driving experience.
4. Music To the Ears
   From 5 to 29 August, shoppers will be entertained by delightful melodies as Paragon rejoices in Singapore’s birthday.

5. Music EnVogue – Afternoon Instrumental Duet featuring Fabiola Zuniga
   
   This month, shoppers can also look forward to daily performances (except Tuesdays) by professional singer, dancer and percussionist, Fabiola Zuniga. Fabiola, who is from Cali, Colombia, has been singing since 1982 with renowned salsa bands in her country and recorded five albums. She has also toured around Asia for the past two years.
   
   Catch Fabiola’s performances at 12.15pm and 1.15pm daily (except Tuesdays) and at 3pm and 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
