Singapore, 9 November 2010 --- Horse-racing fans in Singapore and Malaysia can now turn to a new racing guide for their weekly racing tips. Jointly published by the racing desks of Singapore Press Holdings' Chinese evening dailies Shin Min Daily News and Lianhe Wanbao, "Victory Trail", a tabloid-size racing guide, will hit the newsstands on 12 November 2010.

This comprehensive horse racing tabloid offers race goers the latest racing news, tips by renowned tipsters local and abroad, up-to-date information on trainers, jockeys and horses, as well as activities organised by the Singapore Turf Club.

Apart from race cards containing information of races organised by the Singapore Turf Club, the new tabloid also carries race cards of overseas races in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia and South Africa. The full-coloured racing guide, ranges between 24pp and 36pp depending on the number of races, will be available at all 7-Eleven outlets and newsstands every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The cover price is $2.50.

The inaugural issue on 12 November is packed with information such as understanding the different breeds of horses, analysis of the upcoming Singapore Gold Cup 2010, punting tips by renowned tipsters, interesting facts of Singapore's racing history, as well as commentaries by the two Racing Editors Mr Ronnie Poon and Mr Chan Chin Kion.

Mr Ronnie Poon, Editor of the English section, said: "Victory Trail is not just another publication providing tips. It also gives all the information needed by punters to make a calculated and decisive choice."

Mr Chan Chin Kion, Editor of the Chinese section, said: "As a regular race goer for the past 20 years, I understand the needs of local punters. With the strong support of my editorial team, I hope to make Victory Trail a publication which every racing fan would turn to."
