New enhancements for SilverKris website

Singapore, 2 July, 2014 - The online site of SilverKris, the travel magazine of Singapore Airlines, now sports a new look and enhanced user features for greater interactivity. 

The enhanced website was launched yesterday and boasts a brand-new look, with exciting new features, including a UGC (User Generated Content) section – in the form of SilverKris Explorers – to engage and involve users who love travelling.

Award-winning SilverKris magazine is available on board all Singapore Airlines flights, and its content, including online exclusives, is available on the website. SilverKris also has a fully interactive tablet edition downloadable via iTunes and GooglePlay.

On the revamped website, anyone can register to become a SilverKris Explorer. Once they have created their profile, they are free to upload photos and stories and interact with others in the community. In doing so, they will earn recognition in the form of badges, followers and even prizes, as there will be ongoing promotions and contests. 

To launch the website, a campaign comprising contests themed around food, activities and romance have been organised from now through to 20 December, with tablets to be won at every round. The grand prize is a pair of Singapore Airlines return air tickets to Bali or Hong Kong for the winning SilverKris Explorer.

Together with the fully interactive tablet edition and print, the enhanced online site offers travellers additional incentives to access SilverKris’ trove of inspiring travel articles and tips.
