Singapore, 3 November 2014 – The Seletar Mall, developed by The Seletar Mall Pte Ltd, a joint venture company between Singapore Press Holdings (70%) and United Engineers Limited (30%), has obtained the Temporary Occupation Permit (“TOP”) on 28 October 2014. The mall, which is located at 33 Sengkang West Avenue, will open its doors to shoppers on Friday, 28 November 2014.
Ahead of its opening, the family-oriented mall has already achieved 99.6% occupancy. The four-storey shopping mall plus two basements will house more than 130 brands over a net lettable area of 188,000 square feet (“sq ft”). About 380 carpark lots are provided at basements 3, 4 and 5.
Nestled at the junction of Sengkang West Avenue and Fernvale Road, the modern and chic mall will serve the needs of the residents and working population in the surrounding estates such as Sengkang, Hougang, Punggol, Seletar and Ang Mo Kio. It offers an exciting array of dining, lifestyle, fashion and shopping experience under one roof, bringing both new and familiar brands closer to home.
The diverse mix of anchor tenants include premium supermarket FairPrice Finest, cineplex Shaw Theatres, foodcourt Foodfare, Japanese casual clothing company UNIQLO, ladies-only fitness centre Amore Fitness & Boutique Spa and departmental store BHG.
