26-year-old Professional Trainer Imran Nedunchelian is the Winner of CLEO Most Eligible Bachelors 2016

Singapore, 19 March 2016 – CLEO Singapore, the best-selling local magazine for young women published by SPH Magazines Pte Ltd, announced at last night's event that Imran Nedunchelian as the winner of CLEO Most Eligible Bachelors 2016. 

The 26-year-old professional trainer said: “I'm honoured to be given the title of CLEO Most Eligible Bachelor 2016. Taking part in this contest was a challenge to myself – to step out of my comfort zone and try something different.” Imran walked away with more than $4,000 worth of prizes. 

Into its 21st year, the signature annual event for CLEO Singapore showcases talented, successful and charismatic men in Singapore. The finals party was held at Zouk, where family and friends of the contestants showed up to celebrate the event and cheer on their favourites. 

The event also crowned four subsidiary award winners. 27-year-old UFM100.3 radio presenter/producer Brian Low Wei Loong won the award for Freshest Face, while 25-year-old graphic designer Derrick Wee took home the award for Most Stylish Bachelor.

Freshest Face Brian Low Wei Loong said: “Winning this award was unexpected! I guess what they say is true – that having a positive mind is half the battle won!”

Most Stylish Bachelor Derrick Wee said: “I'm elated to have won this award. I dress up and look stylish for more than superficial reasons – it helps boost my confidence level too.”

The two other subsidiary awards went to 25-year-old undergraduate Benny Tan, who was crowned the Sexiest Bachelor, and 28-year-old ONE FM 91.3 radio personality Shaun Tupaz, who nabbed the award for Hottest Life of the Party. 

Sexiest Bachelor Benny Tan said: “Thanks CLEO for the award! I've never felt sexier in my life!” 

Hottest Life of the Party Shaun Tupaz said: “I wanna say a big thank you to my ONE FM family and my mum, who has always told me to do my best in everything."

Kit Chua, associate editor of CLEO Singapore, said: “It was a lot of work and a tough decision, but the entire CLEO team is proud to call Imran our Most Eligible Bachelor for 2016. To us, he embodies the values that a Bachelor should have – he is gallant, charming, hard-working, modest, and he isn’t too hard on the eyes, either!
