ShareInvestor marks 10 years of INVEST Fair

Singapore, 27 July 2016 – ShareInvestor, the financial internet media and technology subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), is organising its tenth annual edition of INVEST Fair Singapore. It will be held over the weekend of 30-31 July 2016 at the Suntec Singapore, Exhibition Halls 401, 402 and 403 at Level 4. 

To mark its 10
th anniversary, this year’s INVEST Fair is centred on the theme “Your Share of Possibilities”. Comprising 10 exciting highlights, this two-day event reaches out to seasoned and prospective investors to help them manage their investment priorities and meet their financial goals. 

Prominent keynote speakers 

Hear from investment experts who have helmed past editions of INVEST Fair, including legendary investor and author Jim Rogers; Chairman and CEO of Montgomery Investment Management Roger Montgomery and Hu Li Yang, touted as Asia’s top investment guru.

Speakers who are making their maiden appearance at INVEST Fair include trader and lecturer Mike Bellafiore who is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of SMB Captial; trader and technical analyst Vito Henjoto and CEO of marketing consulting firm Zenefix and Dr Kenny Tang who is the Vice-Chairman of Jun Yang Financial Holdings and CEO of Jun Yang Securities, as well as a Non-Executive Director of Hin Sang Group (International) Holdings Co. SGX Pavilion 

With the theme of ‘Save and Invest in your financial future’, the SGX pavilion features a series of education talks, advisory clinics and information on investing in the various asset classes. Investors can sign up for 1-to-1 sessions with investment and financial advisers to get ideas on optimising their current portfolio and gain advice on reaching their financial goals.

Property Pavilion 

A stronger Singapore dollar and depressed local housing market have seen an increased interest in overseas property over the last few years. 

The Property Pavilion showcases investment opportunities in commercial and residential properties, in Malaysia (Penang, Kuala Lumpur), Thailand (Bangkok), China (Chengdu), and Cambodia (Phnom Penh). 

Participants of the Property Pavilion will be some of the region’s leading property developers, including Oxley International Holdings, Worldbridge Land (Cambodia) Co., Ltd, Chengdu Galencia Property Co Ltd, Hunza Properties Berhad, I-Marcom Sdn Bhd and Voque Property Co Ltd.

Powered by CME Group and TD Ameritrade Asia, participants can learn how trading works through informative sessions centred on the use of TD Ameritrade Asia’s products and services. 

Pick up strategies for managing risks, creating income and view a live demonstration of the ‘thinkorswim’ platform, voted the “Most Preferred Trading Platform” at the ShareInvestor Awards 2015 by INVEST Fair 2015 attendees. 

Participants stand to win 10 Gold iPad Air (Wi-fi, 64GB) worth over S$700 each through an onsite lucky draw between 1.00 – 5.00pm on an hourly basis during both event days.

ShareInvestor’s 10 years walk-through gallery

In celebration of INVEST Fair’s 10th anniversary, look back at notable event milestones such as the Invest Conference in 2015 and ShareInvestor Awards (since 2013) and ShareInvestor’s efforts in driving financial literacy and investor education in Singapore.

Live broadcast by ONE FM91.3 DJs 

ONE FM91.3 DJs Glenn Ong and The Flying Dutchman will be hosting a “live” show from the INVEST Fair siteon Sunday. There would be hourly interviews with event speakers and partners at intervals between 1.00 to 6.00 pm.

ShareInvestor Awards 

Visitors to INVEST Fair can take part and select their preferred service providers in ten categories, ranging from Most Preferred Stockbroking House to Most Preferred Trading Platform. First started in 2013, the ShareInvestor Awards honours the top financial products, institutions and service providers from the local financial industry.
