Asia’s largest beer festival heads to Hong Kong this December

Singapore, 25 August 2016 – Following the success of Beerfest Asia in Singapore, Asia’s largest beer festival will be making its first foray overseas as it heads to Hong Kong!

From 1 – 4 December 2016, Beerfest Asia Hong Kong will be held at West Kowloon, the up-and-coming vibrant cultural quarters which overlooks the Victoria Harbour.
Beer enthusiasts can look forward to tasting a wide selection of specialty craft beers and commercial favourites at the four-day event, ranging from fresh locally-brewed craft beers such as Gweilo Beer and Little Creatures to a wide variety of award-winning craft beers and ciders from around the world brought in by specialist beer importers, including Bel-Boy Express, Seven Brews, Bestbev, Artisan Imports, Red Mill Limited and more. Visitors will be spoilt for choice at Beerfest Asia Hong Kong. There will also be a variety of gourmet treats and beer-friendly snacks for visitors to munch on – a great accompaniment to the wide variety of beer selections!

Aside from beers and grub, visitors will be wowed by the entertainment line-up of more than 20 international tribute acts, local bands and DJs. Flying in from Australia exclusively for the festival will be “Killer Queen”, dubbed the world’s top tribute band, who will be performing classic Queen hits. John Blunt the lead singer of Killer Queen has also recently been cast as Freddie Mercury in the ITV docu-drama “The Great Pretender: Freddie Mercury Revealed”. Joining Killer Queen will be another renowned Australian tribute act All Stars Showstoppers performing as Abba and The Rolling Stones.

Festival goers can also look out for engaging games such as Beer Pong, darts and more, to keep them entertained!
