A Wealth of Delights at The Clementi Mall

Singapore, 18 January 2018 – From exclusive gift items to scrumptious festive treats and even an interactive and educative game, shoppers can expect to indulge in a bountiful line-up of festive fun time this Lunar New Year at The Clementi Mall, from 19 January to 15 February.

Themed A Wealth of Delights, shoppers will be rewarded with an exclusively designed set of red packets with a minimum spend of $88 ($138 with Fairprice Finest receipt) and a twin bowl set with a minimum spend of $188 ($238 with Fairprice Finest receipt). Inspired by traditional Chinese literature in which the “hexagon” shape symbolises all six directions: North, South, East, West, Heaven and Earth, the hexagon motif design signifies wholeness and unity.

Shoppers who spend a minimum of $30 can play the Reunion Dinner Challenge, an interactive time-based game where the objective is to help Ah Ma whip up sumptuous dishes. The game is developed exclusively for The Clementi Mall and features traditional recipes such as steamed fish, drunken prawns, nian gao and tang yuan. It takes on an educative slant with the young ones learning about the ingredients that go into their favourite reunion dishes while having fun. Shoppers who successfully ‘cook the dinner’ get a chance to spin the wheel to win attractive prizes such as an iPad 9.7”, Samsung Tab S3, and attractive shopping vouchers from OSIM, Skechers, Aoyama Hair Studio and more!

A Lunar New Year Fair will run from 26 January to 14 February, featuring scrumptious traditional goodies from retailers such as Swee Heng, Gin Thye, Casahana and Boon Kee. Visit The Clementi Mall’s Facebook page to count the number of dancing new year treats in the weekly contests. Each week, one lucky winner will walk away with $50 worth of SPH Malls vouchers.

Shoppers can also soak in the festivities with special performances by New Town Secondary School’s band, Chinese contemporary dance and guzheng ensemble on 10 February, 6pm, at the Level 3 Main Atrium, and watch show-stopping lion dance on 21 February at 11.30am.
