Singapore Business Awards 2018 pays tribute to outstanding Singapore business leaders

Singapore, 25 April 2018 - Mr Lim Hua Min, Group Executive Chairman of the PhillipCapital Group, was named Businessman of the Year 2017 at this year's Singapore Business Awards (SBA). 
The PhillipCapital Group is an integrated Asian financial house which provides a comprehensive suite of financial products and services. It currently operates in 17 countries, including the major financial hubs of Singapore, Chicago, London, Tokyo and Hong Kong. 
Launched in 1985, the SBA has grown to be Singapore's most prestigious business accolade. It is jointly organised by The Business Times, Singapore's leading business daily; and DHL Express, the global market leader of the international express and logistics industry. This year marks the 33rd edition of SBA. 
In addition to the Businessman of the Year award, the other awards in the SBA roll of honour are the Outstanding Chief Executive of the Year, Outstanding Overseas Executive of the Year and The Enterprise Award.

Mdm Halimah Yacob, President of the Republic of Singapore was the Guest-of-Honour at this evening's SBA 2018 presentation dinner held at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia, Singapore. 
Mr Wong Wei Kong, Chairman of the SBA organising committee and Editor of The Business Times, said: "The Singapore Business Awards recognise outstanding business leaders for their contributions to their respective industries, both locally and globally. With tenacity and resilience, they have continuously strived to achieve stellar results and proven themselves as market leaders in their fields.
