Versatility and innovation at PrintPack+Sign 2019

Singapore, 26 June 2019 –  PrintPack+Sign (PP+S), one of Singapore’s most important trade shows for the print, design packaging, signage and labelling industries, kicks off on 10 July at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Level 1 Hall C. Held concurrently with the Singapore Gifts & Premiums Fair (SGPFair) and Office Expo Asia (OEA), PP+S will run for 3 days till 12 July.

PP+S is an important business platform for the region’s high-profile dealers who represent international machinery brands and media products. Exhibitors will showcase their creativity and capabilities through their end products to corporate users across sectors like advertising, education, entertainment, FMCG, healthcare, retail, telecommunications and travel.

New Innovations and Versatile Applications

Akatsuki Pte Ltd presents the Skyjet SDL3300 single and synchronous double-sided UV printer. Its patented technology enables it to print a different image on each side with precision, meeting customers’ demands of light box picture colour inconsistency in the day and night. Other applications include dual-sided flag banners at airports, retail malls, museums, stadiums and other public spaces. Akatsuki Pte Ltd is the sole distributor of the Skyjet SDL3300 in Singapore.

Konica Minolta’s new AccurioPress C83hc high chroma print system produces high impact vivid colour. Its toner offers significant gains with enhanced pink, purple and magenta; vibrant light blue and green. It is also able to handle a variety of media with ease including envelopes, banners and textured stocks of up to 350gsm. The AccurioPress C83hc's vivid colour is great for applications like printing studio photos, photo books, photos of nature, illustrations, CG, web-to-print and more. The expansion of spot colour reproduction is useful for printing company logos, and makes it possible for graphic designers to create eye-catching posters, POP, and packaging with high impact.

Tools and noise-free construction of towering structures of up to 5 metres tall or the assembly of an array of counters, display stands and tables are now a reality with the B-lock Generation 4 modular display system by Botak Sign Pte Ltd. Designed in Singapore, the B-lock’s patented spring-tension technology ensures a strong grip by adjusting the coil mechanism. From basic geometric shapes to complex multifaceted grid assemblies, B-lock’s aluminium components are infinitely reusable for retail displays, festive decorations, showroom set-ups and more.

The events also offer educational content at the Branding & Marketing Design Suite where presentation of current trends, local artists’ demonstrations, and creative workshops offer plenty of inspiration and fresh ideas to visitors.

Several showcases will also be presented:
