A new mobile multiplayer online battle arena game, Arena of Glory (AOG), was unveiled at EFA on the first day of COMEX on 5 September. Visitors were introduced to a competitive showcase of AOG on 5 and 6 September, where players must form a team of five and take down the opposing team’s base to be victorious. AOG will be launched in Singapore and Malaysia early November this year.
Huawei’s highly anticipated Nova 5T made its Singapore debut at EFA for visitors to get their first hands-on experience with the smartphone. With Huawei’s signature SuperCharge quick charging feature and industry-leading GPU Turbo 3.0 – a hardware-software integrated graphic processing acceleration technology – the Nova 5T provides a full-frame gaming experience and reduces latency for slicker gameplay. Hong Kong’s Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) celebrities Grace Chan, Katy Kung and Shaun Tam were guest stars at EFA to meet fans on 6 and 7 September for their first joint meet-and-greet sessions in Singapore. They hosted interactive games for fans and 10 lucky winners walked away with a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active worth S$318 or a Samsung Galaxy Fit worth S$168. Fans were also treated to a showcase of Shaun playing with local professional esports players in CS:GO and PUBG.
