STJobs Career & Learning Fair connects jobseekers and graduates with greater career prospects

Singapore, 12 October 2019 Job seekers, fresh graduates and mid-career switchers streamed into the STJobs Career & Learning Fair on Saturday, 12 October 2019, eager to meet with various employers of choice and experienced training providers offering job opportunities and learning activities.

The doors to Singapore’s trusted biannual job fair opened at 10am, with more than 40 exhibitors and hiring professionals participating.

Some exciting activities taking place at the fair include a digital starter course offered by Ngee Ann Polytechnic, career coaching and personality profiling. This edition of the fair also features a Visitor Draw, where visitors may stand a chance to win up to $2,000 worth of vouchers. Visitors who take part in a simple survey can receive a complimentary copy of STJobs Career Guide 2019, a comprehensive resource that includes labour updates, pay guide, and industry overviews (while stocks last).

The first day of the open talks at the STJobs Career & Learning Fair also drew near-capacity crowds for all its sessions. Topics discussed ranged from data sciences, Singapore’s community care sector, how to boost one's career and workplace performance and tips on finding one's personal brand statement.

Ms Banu, 21, fresh graduate, said: "I found out about the fair through newspaper advertisements and it is also my first time here. I came down to attend the fair as there are job opportunities for fresh graduates and even on-site help to build my resume."

The STJobs Career & Learning Fair 2019 will end tomorrow, 13 October 2019.
