FastJobs organises inaugural FastJobs Excellence Awards

Singapore, 2 April 2020 - FastJobs’ inaugural Excellence Awards opens its nominations on Thursday, 2 April. Welcoming nominations across all industry sectors in Singapore, the FastJobs Excellence Awards aims to celebrate outstanding service and operational staff and recognise their valuable contributions to Singapore’s industry development. It is also an opportunity to give frontline and support staff recognition as they serve Singapore during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nominations are open to the public and they can nominate friends, family, colleagues, or any frontline staff who has inspired them with their excellence at work. Nominators and award finalists stand a chance to win prizes worth up to $3,000 per category and award finalists will also have their stories featured on The New Paper. 

The judging panel of this digital Awards consists of Lim Huishan, General Manager of FastJobs Singapore, David Kwee, CEO of Training Vision Institute, Loh Chi Ming, Head of Content Partnerships at Gnowbe and Steven Seek, Consultant and Executive Coach of Pyller Training & Development Pte Ltd, who will shortlist nine finalists for online voting. The top three winners are then chosen based on public voting on social media. 

The Awards underlines FastJobs’ commitment to championing the non-executive employment segment in Singapore. As one of Singapore’s leading online jobseeking platforms for non-executive workers, the Awards is one of FastJobs’ suite of signature initiatives which is aimed at delivering value to jobseekers and employers in the country.

Lim Huishan, General Manager of FastJobs Singapore said: “As a job app popular with non-executive jobseekers, we hope to give our users as well as other non-executive employees in Singapore a chance to be recognised for their consistent and outstanding work. In addition, the recent COVID-19 pandemic has seen many of Singapore’s frontline employees braving the situation for their jobs and to provide for their families. Their courage is truly commendable and we hope that the FastJobs Excellence Awards encourages all service and operational employees to give their best in their daily duties, knowing that their hard work is not unnoticed.”

The Awards features three key categories:

1. Outstanding Service

The one who goes to great lengths to ensure the best experience 

possible for internal/external customers

 

2. Lifelong learner

The one who has shown his or her ability to continuously adapt, and learn new skills and technologies

 

3. Rockstar rookie

The newbie who has been performing above expectations and is a wonderful addition to the team.

 

To nominate, fill up the FastJobs Excellence Awards nomination form here or post your submission on the FastJobs Excellence Awards Facebook group. Nominations close on Thursday, 30 April 2020. Finalists will be announced in mid-May and the top three winners will be announced online in end-May.
