Singapore, 13 April 2007 – When Radio 91.3´s “Kiss My Car” competition began back in March, slowly but surely the kisses began trickling in. Then that trickle became a steady stream, and now, in the final week of the competition, a brand new Chevrolet Aveo has become almost unrecognisable beneath the colossal flood of kisses Singaporeans have rained down upon it.
Join in the fun and tune in to Radio 91.3 for a chance to win the new Chevrolet Aveo by guessing the number of "kisses" on the car, and best of all, you don´t even have to get it right! The CLOSEST guess wins! Yes, it´s that simple! Contestants don´t have to outdo each other standing under the blazing hot sun or the pouring rain for 3 days and 3 nights, sticking their palms on the vehicle.
All it takes is less than a minute to make your guess, and one lucky winner will walk away with the grand prize worth more than $40,000. Why so easy? Because winning a car should be FUN! Not TORTURE! And the new Radio 91.3 is all about fun!
"Kiss My Car", is a contest organised by Radio 91.3, with the support from Suntec City. The car is sponsored by Chevrolet from Starsauto Pte Ltd.
There are two ways for the public to qualify:
1. Shoppers spend $50 dollars (maximum 2 combined receipts in a day) at Suntec City from March 19 to 15 April*, take their receipts to the customer service counter service counter on Level 1 in the Tropics Atrium between Towers 1 & 2, and they receive a kiss sticker and a lucky draw coupon. Shoppers will need to paste the stickers on the car and drop the lucky draw coupons at the designated box. Two hundred and twenty shoppers will be picked to take part in the contest.
2. Tune in to Radio 91.3 from March 26 to April 20. The DJs will be qualifying listeners every hour, everyday to participate in the finale. The ninth caller for each round qualifies. In total, there will be 220 listeners.
The "kissed" vehicle is presently displayed at the Tropics Atrium of Suntec City. The grand finale will be held on 22 April 2007. Four hundred and forty contestants will gather at the atrium for a chance to win the car. All contestants will walk home with a whole load of goodies, including Radio 91.3 exclusive premiums, vouchers from Suntec City, etc. Contestants MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE TO WIN!
The LAST and ONLY way to win the car, tune in to Radio 91.3 NOW.
