Singapore, 3 May 2007 – Ever wished you can have a taste of how
it feels like to be in your dream job without losing your current one? 16 lucky
readers of My Paperwill get an experience of their lifetime doing just
that – to be a bartender, a model or a show host.
Selected from a sea of
over 400 entries received for “我 Dream Job”, these finalists have undergone some
10 to 12 hours of professional training and will showcase what they have learnt
at the Ministry of Sound on Tuesday, 15 May 2007 at 7pm.
And who gets to
decide if they make the cut? My Paperreaders, of course!
The
evening will be hosted by witty Fly Entertainment artiste Magdalene See (施慧玲),
who is best remembered for her hosting stint on Channel U´s travelogue “Tian Ya
Ren Wo Xing” (天涯任我行). The programme clinched the Best Youth programme title at
the Asian Television Awards in 2002.
Guests will also be entertained by
Project Superstar first runner-up Sing Chew Sin Huey (石心卉), who will be crooning
popular hits from her debut album – “从台北到北京”.

paper
Launched in June 2006, my paper 我报 is Singapore´s
first Chinese freesheet. Targeted at working adults between ages 20 and 40, the
compact-sized publication is contemporary, informative and entertaining,
allowing young, trendy and bilingual Singaporeans to keep in touch with the
Chinese language in an enjoyable and accessible manner. my paper 我报 is
published five days a week from Tuesday to Saturday. The newspaper is
distributed freely at MRT stations, selected office buildings, business parks,
households, as well as established coffee franchises across the island.
