Elite Sports Cars And Luxurious Cars Turn Up The Heat At Torque's Supercars Showcase 2007

The gathering of Singapore´s most elite supercars is happening for the first time on 25 May 2007.

Singapore, 18 May 2007 - SPH Magazines Pte Ltd´s TORQUE magazine, a premium automobile magazine, will be organising the first ever supercars show, “Torque Supercars Showcase 2007”, in Singapore. Living up to the magazine´s passion for cars, Torque´s car show will be flagging in twelve of Singapore´s most elite and exclusive make super sports cars. This is the first time in Singapore where this many number of premium cars of varied brands are pulled together for a showcase of this nature.

Torque´s supercars show at Millenia Walk on 25 and 26 May 2007 (Friday and Saturday) will showcase among others, some of the supercars featured in Torque´s November 2006 issue. From the Lamborghini Murcielago with its signature Lambo doors to the one and only Peugeot´s RC Cup, outside of Europe. Also, the exclusive Ferrari cars, to be present at the show, are limited and exclusive to the extent that they require potential owners to submit their resume of Ferraris owned before successful purchase can be made.

With the gathering of the finest automobile ever made and worth over millions of dollars in total, Torque´s Supercars Showcase 2007 is definitely a prestigious event and eye-feast not to be missed.

Held at Millenia Walk´s Times Square and The Great Hall, the showcase will start off on 25 May from 11am in the morning. At the car show, besides feasting their eyes on the premium cars, viewers will also be engaged in several key activities like joining the contest to take photographs of cars and stand to win Nikon cameras, or pitting their driving skills with one another on Xbox game featuring the latest European sports cars, or posing beside a supercar, Pagani Zonda, for a mock cover picture.

Bridgestone is also on site to provide free car tyre check service in conjunction with the car show. On top of these, viewers also stand to win lucky draws for prizes like home theatre systems and cameras, which worth a total of more than $30,000. Sponsors for the event include Bridgestone, Nikon and Grey Goose. The event is also supported by Abof Restaurant, Ermenegildo Zegna Parfums, Pioneer, Xbox 360 and Millenia Walk.

In the evening on 25 May, celebrity host, Junita Simon, will engage the audience with some activities at a cocktail event hosted by SPH Magazines held for 300 invited guests, advertisers, car enthusiasts and readers at Millenia Walk´s Times Square and The Great Hall.
