Singapore, 29 August 2007 -
my paper
(我报), Singapore’s first Chinese freesheet, will be published from
Monday to Friday, instead of Tuesday to Saturday, starting September.
The first Monday edition of
my paper will be available on September 3. Starting this Saturday on September 1, there will be no more weekend editions of
my paper.
Mr Goh Sin Teck, Editor of
my paper, said the change was made in response to feedback from readers, especially young working adults, who have requested that
my paper be made available at the start of the work week.
"Many readers have said that they miss out on reading the Saturday editions of
my paper because
they don’t go to work on that day. With this change to our publishing
schedule, our readers will be able to get a copy of
my paper on every work day of the week," said Mr Goh.
From September 3, readers can look out for a series of readers’
promotions with attractive prizes to be won in the Monday editions of
my paper.
