Join the Sunshine Club and Be Rewarded!

Singapore, 14 September 2007 - Calling all newspapers readers, there are now more reasons for you to subscribe to newspapers published by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) and have them delivered to your doorstep.

With the launch of the Sunshine Club, SPH is introducing new bundle deals consisting of a daily (The Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao or Berita Harian) and a weekend read (The New Paper Weekend Edition, The Business Times Weekend or Lianhe Zaobao Weekend). With the new bundle deals, home subscribers can now get a weekend read delivered with their favourite daily, right to their doorstep, giving them a head-start to a relaxing weekend.

Mr Chua Wee Phong, Executive Vice-President of SPH Circulation department said,” Most people look forward to the weekends when they can unwind and catch up on their hobbies and leisurely activities. By subscribing to any of the Sunshine bundles, our readers can now complete their weekends with a weekend read of their choice to catch up on the latest sports happenings and lifestyle news.”

With the most affordable bundle priced at $221 for a one-year subscription, Sunshine subscribers can also look forward to receiving exciting gifts worth up to $150. Upon signing up for any of the new Sunshine bundles, they can choose their preferred gift from a variety of lifestyle products such as a Sharp DVD player, OTO weighing machine & pedometer, Parkard Bell MP3, Aerogaz microwave oven or Sanyo Dect Phone; as well as get a free 3-month magazine subscription for Shape, Torque, Simply Her, Citta Bella or Maxim.

To top it off, subscribers will also automatically qualify for a grand lucky draw which will be held on 10 January 2008 and stand to win the top prize of a 12 Day / 11 Night Best of Italy and Switzerland package for two worth $8,000. The other prizes include an OTO Cyber-Pro massage chair and a Denon DVD home theatre system.

Those who sign up at the SPH subscription roadshows will also get additional freebies, on top of the subscription gifts. The SPH subscription roadshows are scheduled as follows:
