Singapore, 24 October 2007 - Paragon Shopping Centre, a premier mall in Orchard Road, has clinched two awards in Shopping Centre Scorecard, an annual national industry rating scheme which recognises supremely well-run shopping centres in Singapore.
Paragon, a fully owned subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (SPH), was victorious in two of the three categories - best efforts in Advertising & Promotions and Tenant Relationships. The rating scheme is organised by Singapore Retailers Association (SRA) which also designed the scorecard. The results were based on the votes by each mall´s retailers using the scorecard.
This year´s win for Paragon marks the second year it has won the Shopping Centre Scorecard. Last year, Paragon’s award was for its “best efforts in maintenance” of the property, the third category of the ratings.
Paragon, which enjoys full occupancy in retail space, is the choice destination of the discerning, well-heeled shoppers and tourists looking for high-end luxury products and quality services. Positioned as an upscale fashion and accessories mall, it is home to many international fashion designer names such as Prada, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, BVLGARI, Burberry, Ermenegildo Zegna, Tod´s, Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo, Etro and Jean-Paul Gaultier, just to name a few.

In line with this positioning, two key events are held each year – the Spring/Summer & Fall/Winter fashion events, besides major promotions such as the Great Singapore Sale, Lunar New Year and Christmas. The two key fashion events allow tenants to showcase their latest collections on the runway at Paragon Atrium.
Paragon also publishes its bi-annual fashion catalogue to give shoppers a headstart on what’s new for the season. In addition, the Citibank Paragon co-brand platinum credit card entitles loyal shoppers an all-year-round 10 percent rebate from over 70 participating stores in the form of Style$ vouchers. Other benefits include complimentary valet service or parking, free coffee vouchers and personal concierge services within the centre.
