Singapore, 3 December 2008 – Singapore Press Holdings´ (SPH) Digital Media Editor Felix Soh has been appointed regional director (Asia/Pacific region) of The Society of News Design (SND) from this month.
In a statement released by SND, the society´s president Ms Gayle Grin said: “As he straddles both print and new media, Felix is in an ideal position to help raise standards of design on behalf of SND. Felix has the passion and the energy to do a great job for SND. I´m so very happy he´s joining our efforts in Asia.”
Felix is the digital media editor of the English and Malay Newspapers Division of SPH, overseeing new media products like AsiaOne, STOMP and The Straits Times Razor TV. In addition, he is the consulting editor of the bilingual free newspaper my paper.
Said Felix: “It is a great honour to be appointed SND’s regional director. My appointment is recognition of SPH´s achievements in the media industry in the Asia-Pacific region.”
